Place
On the most countries that received elephants poaching is Kenya, Kenya has Great Rift Valley, mountain highlands and abundant wildlife such as lions, elephants and rhinos. Kenya has a population 44 million.
Another counrty had many poachers in it is Tanzania, it most known for its vast wilderness areas They include the plains of Serengeti National Park, a safari mecca populated by the “big five” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino), and Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa’s highest mountain. Offshore lie the tropical islands of Zanzibar and Mafia Marine Park, where whale sharks swim through reefs.
Region
The East African people who are least likely to know English are the nomadic Maasai of southern Kenya and northern Tanzania, there many diiferent langauges in East Africa.
About a hundred of the languages of Africa are widely used for inter-ethnic communication. Arabic, Somali, Berber, Amharic, Oromo,Swahili, Hausa, Igbo, Fulani and Yoruba are spoken by tens of millions of people.
Movement
Poacher in East Africa are wilng to kill the elephant just because of its ivory, they sell to different countries such as China and Hoon Kong.
They're not thinking of the impact that would happen if thet kept on poaching the elephant.
Human-Environment Interaction
National Gegraphic and others have done studies about the situation in Africa and they found it really dangerous, the is having a huge increasing, and in less that a 100 year it will be gone.
When the amount of elephant are dicreasing the price of an ivory is increasing, by 2006 the price of a pound of ivories in China was $50, and it could reach a $1000 and more for one pound.
An effective solution could be to stop the poacher and make illeagil to poach elephants or any other animal, and they would also get tickets if they did so again.
